Amano is a more or less free hand drawn alphabet. The letters have thicker and thinner parts, they are not all of the same size and aren't exactly placed on one line. That's the reason why when you translate the letters to cross stitch patterns they must be relatively big.

Below pictures of the capitals, the small letters and figures in two sizes. The cross stitches are in two colors, gray and black. You can use the two colors, but you can also make all the stitches in black. Feel free to add or to delete one or two stitches if you think the result is better.
