Miao embroidery designs 1 and 2
These two geometrical designs are almost the same.
They are made with the add of an executed embroidery of the Miao. When
you are going to recreate such a design you will end up with the design
at the bottom. That's because the work looks exactly
symmetrical. Looking closer you discover that the number of threads
of the cloth are not the same in both directions. Remaking the design
for even thread cloth isn't easy, but it can be done. The result is
the first design.
