series in between: wider bars
There are several options when you execute one of the designs below. After embroidering the bars with the Holbein stitch, you can fill in the small enclosed parts with cross stitches or any other stitch you like. It is also possible to fill up the bars with cross stitches. The first small star in the drawing consist of two interwoven bars. They cross each other, but never themselves. So to use two colors is obvious. In the bigger designs you can investigate how many bars there are and then decide how many colors you want to use. There are more possibilities. Maybe you yourself find an interesting one. You can also look on the page weekly pattern 14
The size of the designs are, from small to large, 38, 84, 118, 198, 232 stitches.
The in between series marks a transition from series A to series B. Later, I succeeded in making the space between the bars smaller. That gives, in my opinion, most of the time, a better result. In the future extensions will be in series B. I don't have the intension to enlarge series A or the in between series
