This pattern is quite
easy to make and suitable as a first try in Florentine embroidery. When
the first row of zigzag stitches in one color has been made the following
rows above and under that first row are easy to make: they are identical
with that first row, only the color is different. All stitches are made
over 6 threads, but sometimes they staggered one threads up or down, sometimes
they staggered 4 threads up or down. Five shades of brown are used from
very dark to very light.
